Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Important. This notice describes NutriGlance's practices for consumer health data, including information covered by Washington's My Health My Data Act and Nevada's consumer health data law when those laws apply. It supplements the Privacy Policy. NutriGlance does not sell consumer health data.

1. Who controls the data

NutriGlance is operated by Elena Sergeevna Krylova, a self-employed individual registered under the professional income tax (NPD) regime of the Russian Federation, TIN 661709803565 (“NutriGlance,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Contact: info@nutriglance.com; +7 985 850 62 36.

2. Consumer health data we collect

Depending on how a user uses the Service, we may collect or infer the following categories:

We do not ask users to provide diagnoses, medical records, insurance information, government identifiers, genetic data, reproductive or sexual-health data, or photographs of people. Users must not upload those materials.

4. Why we collect and use it

We collect and use consumer health data only as reasonably necessary to provide features requested by the user, including account setup, calorie and macronutrient calculations, food-photo and text analysis, diary and progress tracking, water and activity tracking, reminders, statistics, approved coach/dietitian functionality, support, security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. Optional analytics is used only after a separate analytics choice and is not required to use the Service.

If we want to collect or use consumer health data for a materially different purpose that is not necessary to provide the requested Service, we will provide any notice and request any separate affirmative consent required by applicable law.

5. Consumer health data we share

RecipientCategories and purpose
Hosting and infrastructure providersAccount, nutrition, wellness, content, and technical data needed to operate and secure the Service. The current VPS is located in Germany.
VseGPT and underlying AI model providersA resized food photograph or food description and technical prompt, only when the user requests AI analysis. The request may reveal nutrition or wellness information. We do not intentionally include the user's name, email address, account ID, or full profile in that request.
Approved coach/dietitianIf the user chooses and Support approves the relationship: profile data, targets, diary entries, photos or thumbnails, weight, water and activity history, statistics, notes, and communications needed for the relationship.
Yandex Metrica and WebvisorAfter separate analytics consent: device, browser, page-interaction, and session-replay data. Input fields and sensitive account areas are configured to be masked, but masking technology cannot be guaranteed to be perfect.
Email and Telegram providersHealth-related message content only if a user includes it in an email, notification, support exchange, or voluntarily connected Telegram channel.
Professional advisers, authorities, or a business successorOnly information reasonably necessary for legal, security, audit, compliance, or a lawful organizational transaction, subject to applicable law.

6. Sale of consumer health data

NutriGlance does not sell consumer health data for money or other valuable consideration. We do not use consumer health data for targeted advertising. If this practice changes, we will first provide any notice and obtain any separate, signed authorization required by law.

7. Your rights

Where applicable, a consumer may:

Email info@nutriglance.com from the address associated with the account, with the subject “Consumer Health Data Request.” To appeal, reply with the subject “Privacy Appeal” and explain the request. We may request information reasonably necessary to authenticate the request. We will respond within 45 days where required; a lawful extension may be used with notice. If an appeal is denied, we will provide a written explanation and information on how to contact the attorney general or other regulator for the applicable jurisdiction, including the Washington or Nevada Attorney General when applicable.

A standard user may also permanently delete the account in Profile after password confirmation. Administrator and coach accounts must contact Support. A deletion request may make the Service unavailable. Deletion from archives or backups follows ordinary rotation and, where Washington law applies, will not be delayed for more than six months after authentication. Limited records may be retained only where an applicable exception permits it, such as security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute handling, or honoring an opt-out.

8. Withdrawing consent

Consent may be withdrawn by emailing the address above. Optional analytics can be declined at any time through “Privacy settings.” Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully completed. If data is necessary to deliver a requested feature, withdrawing consent may require us to stop that feature or close the account.

9. Changes

We will post changes with a new effective date. If a material change affects previously collected consumer health data, we will provide notice and obtain consent before using the data for a new purpose where required.
